So here is the latest 'funny' I have heard in relation to the HVCC.  An AMC I am working with ordered an appraisal.  Their client is, I believe, the bank.  So there are currently 3 companies involved in this appraisal.(Do I wonder why I get paid so little?)  The bank now wants me to change my signature page from my company name and address to the AMC's company name and address "in order to remain compliant with the HVCC".  There is not anywhere in the code that states anything to this fact.  The big factor is on the ordering side, not the appraisal reporting side.  Where are these ideas coming from?  THANK YOU ATTORNEY GENERAL CUOMO FOR ADDING CONFUSION TO AN INDUSTRY THAT ALREADY IS CONFUSED.  I have a great topic for a book when I retire from the appraisal industry.  "The Great HVCC debacle"
